The dome has been wired up with 5 socket outlets, white lights and dimming red lights. I laid ducting to the house which contains armoured power cable and has provision for future communications cabling.
The dome is fitted with a number of security devices that I obviously won’t describe in detail here.
Here you can see my 12 inch Newtonian reflector mounted up. A short ladder is used to reach the eyepiece!
There is plenty of room for visitors and for storing boxes of other equipment. I am planning a small “roving table” for a laptop.
The wall ring makes a nice shelf for a glass of malt!
