I chose a lead-grey colour for the gel-coat which is painted on the top of the resin and mat. This finish should not need any maintenance and I think it looks appropriate for the style of the roof.
The whole dome and shutter panels were completed in one twelve-hour long mammoth session!
The completed panels are very rigid but the quantity of resin increased the overall weight quite a bit!
